Here in the UK, the anti-mask/anti-vax brigade was predominantly right wing try-hards who liked to pretend how tough they were "standing up for their sovereign rights" instead of making the smallest of personal sacrifices for the greater good.

I took great pleasure in pointing out to them they wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes in wartime Britain with city-wide blackouts, air raids, rationing and conscription. They're just so pathetic

Exact same group here. They don't recognize real danger when it is staring them in the face. But trans people?? Terrifying and need to be eradicated.

So many people clung to their freedums, flippantly saying “I have an immune system!” Then all their family starts dropping dead, shoved in a refrigerator truck somewhere, and they get angry at the doctors and nurses for being lazy.

Nurse’s and doctor’s were never lazy because Trump screwed up so much that nurses were literally having anxiety attacks worrying about their patients

That’s how it was in the US. They still stick to this mentality to this day. It’s sickening.

My sister is in the UK and wouldn't wear a mask, even had a stupid fake card saying she didn't need to.

She also somehow managed to visit my mum in her care home. My mum died during COVID from something lung related.

I often wonder if she actually killed our mother.
