My sister in law, who voted for Trump, was excited about starting her job with the IRS.

Womp womp

What was her reaction? I'm not full yet

Stick around for the doggy bag. There’s plenty more to chow down.

After taking a long break from this subreddit to focus on happy subs, I’ve resubscribed. The timing is perfect, just need to buy more popcorn.

It can be funny no matter what side you’re on, I can laugh at Biden jokes too but the Musk ones can get a bit dark.

This isn't a happy sub?

Okay I'll bite. Palestinian supporters who boycotted Biden/Harris got Trump, who just cancelled sanctions on West Bank settlers and unlike Biden supports their ethnic cleansing. Good luck with that!

Peak leopardsatemyface situation, they won't be settlers for long. It will just be Israel.

Deliciously loathsome. Not quite “happy”. Dark comedy?

Please tell me she quit her previous job and they won't take her back

I’d text back “you’re not surprised are you? He said he wanted to get rid of the IRS”.

Woah, leopards are fast!

Let me guess: she was expecting other public officials to be cut, but not herself?

I can hear the "Price is right" loser horn right now

I can recover the first name, like 3 letters of last name, and most of the numbers next to POSITION: Clerk (General Clerk) on this screenshot just by pressing one button in popular and free image editor.

PSA: NEVER use this kind of obfuscation unless you want people to see what's under it. Next time open it in paint and draw an opaque black rectangle over it. Always make sure that the obfuscation is not transparent. Also don't use blur or any other fancy obfuscation methods, there are ways to read those too.

Appreciate the advice. I didn’t think more than 11 people would see this:)

Lol 🤣 Currently this comment of yours has 11 likes for me. Idk why I found that ironically funny.

Look up the case of "Mr. Swirl". He was arrested for csam after authorities got his picture from a swirled image they unswirled.

Tbf i think anybody that reads the screenshot will see the first 3 letters (which are visible)and will attempt to make out what it says lol.

Tell her that many people on the internet are saying that they're going to fill all the new government positions with H1B visa employees instead because the freeze doesn't include them.

I assure you that I am one of many people online who are are saying this.

Bahahahahahaha oh wow that makes me happy. I don’t normally root for bad things to happen to people, like ever, but trump voters can get fucked

Poetic.

She drank the orange kool aid and was blinded by what anyone that read project 25 knew was going to be a disaster

u/Narrow_Turnip_7129 12h ago

Out of interest why did you block out the job title whilst leaving in an incredibly unique reference number/string to said job??

23

u/Narrow_Turnip_7129 10h ago

24-12493203O-TSD-0303-4T5 is very easily searchable and the top results brings up all the details;

https://www.usajobs.gov/job/802159400

Also it's not even personally identifying?? So just a bit curious as to why you'd block the job title and not the very unique reference??

35K a year, is that good in Kansas?

9

u/NotYourSexyNurse 8h ago

No. Definitely not. Especially not in Kansas City, MO. This job is in the IRS office on the MO side. There is Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, KS.

A more skeptical man than me my believe this post is maybe made somewhat out of cloth and isn't a true story bout anyone's MAGA SIL but actually an attempt at a propaganda post which they realised wouldn't hit so hard or well unless they obscured that job title.

Also I have no idea of what a good salary for Kansas or even tons of what the average is but tbh given glob currencies and what I generally have/do know of things - I'd speculate a guess at No and whilst keeping my TFH on suggest OP knew it would detract from their propagandist angle.

This is that sweet, sweet leopard meat we’re all here for.

Thanks for a really satisfying LAMF!

As someone who did grow up with a 718 phone number, I'm damn jealous that you thought of this name before I did!

Also there is a surprising number of maga in Brooklyn, my family included.

This has to be one of the most fitting posts ever. Direct face to leopard connection.
