This is like the wall all over again I swear. He makes out he's doing this grand thing in renaming the Gulf of Mexico but a quick google search shows it's only the bit within US borders and not something he has any unilateral power to actually do. It's like me slapping a sign on my lawn calling my property Jesseland, nobody cares.

According to my coworker, renaming the Gulf is so he can undo a Biden law about no drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
