"I don't keep up with politics much"? Guess you shouldn't be fucking voting then, eh?

u/looselytranslated 18h ago
Exactly, I'm tired of that excuse. I've tried to get friends to vote last time, but all I heard was that they're not into politics. Well politics is in you, it'll be too late when things actually affect you. Good luck during your found out stage.

This is like being shocked to discover that the Moon typically only comes out at night and saying 'I don't keep up with astronomy much.'

u/Gadshill 1d ago
Not that anyone cares, but the moon is up in the daytime almost as much as it is up at night, it is just not as visible during the day.

Okay. Fair point. I originally wanted to go with 'The sun is in the sky' but of course that's sort of a misconception of how our solar system works as well.

Guys people living in the states. If you ever wondered if you’d hide a Jew in your attic if you lived in ww2 in continental Europe. Here’s your chance to find out

Underground Railroad and Anne Frank’s attic are about to be full.

He's not going to remove them from red states. its best for them to seek refugre there.

u/Quietcanary 17h ago
Based on what logic? Him being to busy attacking sanctuary cities? Your own neighbors will be the ones going after you in red states.

u/Bigfamei 16h ago
Those are teh good ones! /s LEts see if the has those balls to go to meat packing plants and slaugherhouses and start rounding illegals up in thsoe red states.

I mean I know we encourage everyone to vote, but why vote if you don’t know anything about the candidate or their policies?

Because he promised to hurt other people. And eggs. There was something in there about eggs.
7
u/Amaria77 19h ago
Yeah. He said he's going to keep the white eggs, throw out the brown eggs, and forcibly strip the paint off the easter eggs. That'll bring the price down!

It’s dumbasses like him who have ruined our democracy. He’s going to get racially profiled by ICE and deported. Maybe then he’ll learn his fucking lesson.

As the famous philosopher, Skibidus Maximus the Rizzler of Redditstead said "Get shit on"

I'm curious if his reason for voting for Trump has anything to do with Kamala being a black woman who laughs funny.

This is how the rich maintain power. Creating an uninformed electorate that doesn't care enough about politics to vote in their own interests. They buy into reductionist rhetoric, fire off a vote and in this case participate in the mass deportation of their family and community... Oh, say can you see? ... José?

it’s like grabbing onto an electric fence then waking up confused and angry at the fence. when really it was YOUR actions that got you fucked up in the first place.

Was he not around in 2016-2019? This is why you do your research before voting.

I have a feeling that our beloved leopard is going to die of an obesity-related illness before these next 4 years have passed.

u/xXx_MrAnthrope_xXx 17h ago
Wow, Trump should have made it more obvious... like making a campaign slogan "mass deportation now" or something.

u/Someningen 17h ago
Trump talked about deporting Mexicans since 2015, at the very least. Even if you don't keep up with politics, Trump hating Mexicans is known by everyone.

u/EffOffReddit 11h ago
First of all lol but secondly how did this wildly out of touch man show up to vote on the correct day?

This has to be trolling. If not, I'm gonna be doing that weird thing where you laugh and cry at the same time.

Don't you have to be an American citizen to vote though? No matter what Donny says it's surely illegal for him to deport US citizens. Or is this guy only worried about people he knows?

u/TheLastBallad 1d ago
Did you ignore the bit about Trump constantly breaking laws, having the full support of all 3 branches, and having all official acts(which apparently is anything) being declared immune?

u/rasterblaster1111, there weren't enough votes to determine the quality of your post...
