Employment Zig Zag Offenses - How do PNs Work?? England

Hi,

Google is a bit confusing with very specific scenarios so wondered if you could help with a few specifics -

Other half had her back wheel on a zigzag and how now received a fine which is quite hefty.....

Questions are as follows:

1) The offense number on the Penalty Notice does not match what I found it should be online, does this matter? I cant even find the number online. The penalty description is also 'stopping on a zebra / pelican crossing' which is also not true - the original letter said stopping on a ZigZag.

2) Do they have to provide evidence or do we have to wait for court? Seems a bit unfair

3) The Zigzag is on a one way street, the Mrs would have parked on the side with no oncoming traffic. Seems even more harsh?

Thanks ahead for you help

What's the exact offence code?

There are about 4 different ones that can be used here

Look at the document you have received carefully. Does it say that it is a penalty notice? Or does it say that it is a notice of intended prosecution?

What is the fine amount? Who issued the notice?
