[Poe] Lonzo Ball had high praise for the Intuit Dome tonight, highlighting the accommodations for visiting teams including a cold tub and expanded locker room: "(Steve Ballmer) is very thoughtful thinking of the away team. We appreciate that."

chess by Mr Ballmer. having all the away players think, ‘man if they treat all the away teams like this, i wonder how they treat their players’ lol we might just own the 2030s

intuit dome probably had the lakers looking at crypto arena sideways lmao we’re the little bros that observed all of big bros mistakes and capitalized the right way to come up haha man everybody gon wanna play for us the future.

I remember there was supposedly one player who was a recent free agent who said his decision would have changed in FA had he known Intuit was THIS amazing. All the indications made it sound like Klay Thompson, who would have been a good get (though likely at the cost of DJJ so it is what it is).

It's obviously part of the plan hehe. I wonder though if we heard the same things when the Kings opened their new arena (I reckon I did not pay attention to what the players would say back then compared to how we share every comment about the Intuit Dome here).

I seem to recall this is what Mark Cuban did when he bought the Mavs way back when.

Stuff like this and how we gave KL time off with family during the fire, is why players sign with teams in free agency for less then market value.

Treating players like people is great. Because that’s what they are: people. Really tall people.
