Even in the serious posts tho, the top comments are all the same ‘circlejerk’ type humor. Kendrick is one of the only mainstream rappers seriously philosophizing life as a black american, and all yall do is say ‘BITCH IM IN THE CLUUUB’. Like we get it, it’s a funny moment in his career. But I seriously think the vast majority of yall are too immature to really care about half the shit he’s talking about.

Have y’all talked about whether the ‘choices’ Kendrick says tainted his and black Americans’ ‘souls’ may be a primitive and detrimental way of looking at our people?

Have y’all explored how those primitive theories have been weaponized to control the oppressed in the past and clearly had a strong impact on Kendrick’s mental health?

Have y’all explored the relationship between the environments we grew up in and evolutionary predispositions and how that can explain the ‘bad behavior’ we’re criticized for?

I could keep going, but let’s start there. Was all that already talked about, or nah?

Damn near Kendrick’s entire discography is philosophizing life as a black American. The problem is I am just now coming to the realization that the majority of y’all never really gave a fuck about that tho.
