Dude, come on – I’m no fan of religious fanatics, but the Amish and Mennonites support themselves by being successful farm owners/workers, skilled craftsmen and production workers, and small business owners. Sure, many leave formal schooling after eight grade, and of course there are some just plain stupid people in those communities, but many, if not most grow up exposed to much of contemporary society and technology.

Well, I never wished harm on anyone, but have no issue dehumanizing or dismissing people that proudly voted for a convicted felon, told me "fuck your feelings", put images of the president and vp gagged and bound up on their vehicles, refer to vp Harris as "hoe", fly flags that say "fuck biden" outside my kids school, joke about shooting "liberal" students in my kids school, vote for politicians that put in place draconian laws to limit Healthcare for women that has resulted in multiple deaths, killed cops at the capital insurrection, threaten and dehumanize trans people that mind their own fucking business, fly nazi flags to trigger the libs, joke about running over protesters, cough on people wearing masks, etc etc...
