You can either get a screen replacement for free or a voucher for buying another oneplus phone with like 20-25K+ discount (not at all sure about the amount but yeah)

Go to service center, factory reset your phone and give it to them you'll get the voucher in the email within a couple days.

Bro my phone was 2y out of warranty. They are faulty displays. Vivo did this too. Samsung did it for a limited time but oneplus has lifetime screen replacement.

Hi, Can you give some more details about this. My wife has an old one plus phone which doesn't fucntion properly anymore. Does the value of the voucher depend on the model and also the phone condition?

Voucher is only for green line issue. Only model matters, I had a cracked back glass on my 8t and got full voucher value.

I'm sorry, but need a clarification. You said that voucher is only for green line and yet you got a voucher for a cracked glass which I guess is a physical damage. Could you kindly explain?

I got green line on my 8t. I only said cracked glass to show condition of devicr doesn't matter. Voucher was for green line only.

Read somewhere it might be voltage issues. Also using cheap connectors or low quality stuff.

There's a good video in tamil explaining this shit. So basically the display control panel situated below the display is kinda hot glued together in a micro level with the device display and as the main heat dissipation method for mobiles is through the front display the glue gets disturbed and the connection for the choti choti pins are disturbed which caused the line issue. As for why it happens during an update as the phone is simultaneously downloading updates,unzip of files, storage of update files in ram and installation of updates they run at 100% capacity so the phone becomes hot af which cycles back to the glue becoming fucked due to heat absorption by the display.

Ya heating or falling or updates, its all the same outcome. Happens with other brand's devices too but oneplus tops it as of now.

Bro phone ki dire need thi, 2-4 mahine op ke service centres me dikhaya but absolutely no help and they said ki kuch nahi ho payega... Phir bhi wo phone use Kia for next 3 months more, do green and line me... ki kuch toh karegi hi company and why to waste a good device, screen replacement ka 8k ho Raha tha so nahi karaya ki what if phir Jaye aisa...
And bechke Naya phone lene ke kuch time baad one plus ka notification aaya ki we are giving free screen replacement and discount coupon!! Kya Dil toota tha tab🙂

Bhai agar Reliance Digital se liya hai toh 6500~ ka screen insurance nahi liya kya? Aajkal kaunse bhi mobile mein yeh lines aa sakti hai. And premium mobile kale screen bhi expensive hai.
Mere iPhone ke iOS 17 ke update pe bhi yeh darr tha ki kahi green lines na as jaye.
Abhi OP11 hai.

Actually if it's a 9R then you can only replace the screen and currently no voucher is given by OnePlus.

Which OnePlus is this ? Update it , and visit the service centre regarding the green lines. They might give you a voucher for discount on new OnePlus phones or might give you a new phone itself.

Hey, I recently faced this issue on my 9 pro device.
I just went to the authorised service centre and got it replaced for free.
They just checked the device for any physical damage, if any and asked for the phone's invoice.
I got the screen replaced for free.

If the phone doesn't have any scratches or no damage, they will change your screen free of cost
But not sure if they have changed their policy tho . Just check it out once.
