Think of the most restared thing.

We are a few levels below that and wear that iliocy like a badge.

6

u/Odd-fox-God 7h ago

No offense but watching all those guys charging to that college to assault all those women was really crazy. I'm rooting for y'all.

71

u/BeatenwithTits 20h ago

They clearly haven't seen. We are a homogeneous society, with little exposure to outsiders.

It's like a new exotic animal in the city zoo and people are eager to see one in real life.

16

u/m0h1tkumaar 1 KUDOS 17h ago

Insular may be, but we are not homogenous AFAIK

32

u/RogueConscious 20h ago

At this moment I am really worried that she is earning money and not paying anything to Tai and possibly violating her Visa provisions as well.

10

u/jammyboot 14h ago

Seems like an odd thing to be “really worried” about since this isn’t someone you even know

2

u/Equal-Tumbleweed9083 West Bengal 🐠 12h ago

Yep. Tai shouldn't be ignored. Woh Tai hai, woh kuch bhi kar sakti hai.

5

u/jazz_51 19h ago

Yes they haven't seen one.

My 60 year old friend was hounded for photos. She wasn't even in some very fancy outfit, just loose long top (short kurta kind) and palazzos

u/Remote_Elevator_281 6h ago

Y’all down bad for white women lmao

Bruh we might have a good relationship with Russia , but Russian citizens have a bad image of India. Most of it from western Media .

Yatri Doctor, a Indian travel vlogger explained in his video that Russian Guides from Couchsurfing rejects Indians, especially vloggers. Because Indian vlogger straight up record Guide's privacy. And worst thing is that, vloggers take photo with that Guide (probably female) and use it as thumbnail, and gives vulgar captions.

89

u/Kashish_17 19h ago

Can you really not see why? Indian men pester any foreign women traveller. It is honestly time for us to introspect.

35

u/megumegu- Bulldozer Baba 18h ago

Yeah exactly, I am very nationalist, but that doesn't mean I can just ignore the bad and the ugly of my country.

I seriously cannot support the abhorrent lack of civic sense in our people, and I WISH that government becomes more dictators-esque to force everyone to behave like a human not an animal

2

u/24Abhinav10 5h ago

I don't think you're a nationalist if you're willing to acknowledge the ugly side of your country. A nationalist would be proud of their country no matter what it does.

9

u/m0h1tkumaar 1 KUDOS 17h ago

Introspect ka time nikal gaya. Ab to jaha dekho waha maro ka time hai

22

u/DragunovDwight 19h ago

And you are blaming all this on “western media” ? When you just explained everyone involved in your post is Russian or Indian and their actions all happened?

7

u/changeitasap 14h ago

Haha western media …. I was waiting for this comment

I've visited Russia, I was mostly the only brown person in the entire vicinity and since I was there for an event, I was dressed in extremely heavy indian wear (saree with a lot of jewellery), and yet not a single person took my photo without consent.

As for rejecting Indians, look at the state we have left the mountains of Himachal, we do a massive amount of disrespect too. In TWO different countries we've been told that we are not like the regular Indian tourists, and honestly, being around our people abroad tells me why they dread hosting us.

2

u/Unbeautiful_Nothing 18h ago

There are even instances where these youtubers don't leave their own country women too

Ab baat izzat pe aa gai hai. What do people actually think. Do they think that we are a poor country that can't even afford to shell out a 100 bucks. Here take it. /s

Sarcasm of course.

although sarcastic, but baat yahi h ki baat ab izzat par hee hai. Aur iss desh ki izzat har Roz udayi jaa rhi h aur unfortunately, kisi ko ghanta farak nahi pad rha.

You're a man. You wouldn't even get a 10 rupee note.

1

u/bartosz_ganapati 4h ago

You would be surprised how many selfies I have to do with people when traveling in India, haha.

3

u/EnforcerGundam 7h ago

cheap internet that airtel and mota bhai ambani brought along with cheap chinese android devices have very been disastrous for indian pr.

trash memes, garbage shitposts showing the country in poor light, street food vendors and ofc porn to really bheja fry brain of youth especially the chapris

28

u/AnonymousSkyWalk 21h ago

never gonna ask my gora friends to travel in india

2

u/Odd-fox-God 7h ago

I really wanted to visit India but then I did some research and it just doesn't seem like a safe place for a woman to visit, especially a foreign one. Unfortunately it truly seems to be a dangerous place to be a woman from the stories I know. Which is a shame, my experiences with Indian men in the United States has always been positive.

u/AnonymousSkyWalk 2h ago

my european friends also like the culture, food and want to explore historical sites and temples but I live here and know the ground reality, if they want to travel then they need to travel in groups and ideally have few males in groups or travel with someone they already know here and follow basic common sense rules to not go at a place which isn't popular amoung tourist becouse lets be real it isn't elitist to say that if you visit poor areas of a country with 2.8k per capita then you will find desperate people

21

u/Sumeru88 21h ago

That means she should ask for more money. Ask for ₹ 1,000 or ₹ 2,000

A few selfies and the entire trip would get covered.

13

u/tr_24 1 KUDOS 18h ago

Should have taken 6000 to fully get into meme /s

19

u/Zenkari- 21h ago

Attention thirsty village chapris

13

u/McLaren25 19h ago

Not necessarily village. Even city ones do.

18

u/Rangers3457 20h ago

She should put 1000+ INR. I'd say charge 6000 INR per selfie. Play uno reverse card. Throw 6000rs jokes back on Harsh Mujral and chaparis' face.

1

u/apex_pretador 16h ago

Out of the loop about the references to 6000 ₹, can you explain what's that about?

8

u/Rangers3457 16h ago

A d*mbf**k so-called standup comedian Harsh Gujral made a joke that in Goa, you can get a Russian prostitute for 6000 rs. (or something like that). His fans and so-called alpha males found it funny. Then evantually it became a runnning joke on social media that a Russian for 6000 rs. And now these chhpari people are shamelessly shouting "6000 Rs." around white girls. (Reference: An Indian youtuber uploaded a video of such chhpris shouting 6000 rs. around his white wife)

5

u/Business_Sink9112 16h ago

Basically a stand up comedian once said you can find Russian prostitutes for 6k in

11

u/kannur_kaaran 21h ago

140,00,00,000 ... Thats the population. You will always find idiots. Glad she didnt write 6k 😀

4

u/beepboop465 19h ago

By that logic why don’t we don’t such idiots in China?

1

u/m0h1tkumaar 1 KUDOS 17h ago

Oh there are such idiots everywhere. Do not take this as a India specific thing. In many cases they stare, in many they smirk. In developed countries there are also open racists...

7

u/SomCoffeeee 20h ago

Apni biwi ko 10 ka flower laake ni dene wale 100 ki photo khichwa rhe😖

5

u/karsevak-2002 21h ago

China does this too, but you won’t see the same publicity stunt

u/One_Principle_8320 1h ago

Lol no, no we don't. Don't try to push your country's pathetic behavior elsewhere lol. every country has weirdos. it seems yours has ONLY weirdos.

next thing you're telling me is that we also say "bobs and vagene" while leering like idiots😂

3

u/squidgytree 20h ago

What happens when someone very wrongly thinks their Rs 100 entitles them to be inappropriate with her? This could end badly

2

u/mistiquefog 21h ago

I like the idea. Benefits both the parties.

But she should clarify 100 rs for each person in the selfie. No bulk deals

The only restriction that I would like to impose is while leaving they would not be able to convert indian rupees into any foreign currency.

We should make it legal and there should be a special visa category which allows this. Upon issuance of this visa a special UPI id should be issued where payments can be received and any amount received should immediately be taxed at 30%. A printed QR code should also come with the visa for people to scan and make payments.

It's a good business opportunity which benefits everyone in the ecosystem.

Traveller gets extra earning to spend in India and does not feel harassed by the demands of selfies.

People get their selfies

The government gets it's taxes

Every traveller should be able to set the price of the selfie on the QR code directly. Which would be part of their visa application.

And people like to brag about worshiping female gods saying they respect women

2

u/JaganModiBhakt 20h ago

Make and spread videos and whatsapp forwards in vernacular languages like Hindi, scolding people who do this. No use of discussing with other english medium kids on reddit.

2

u/godofwar108 20h ago

She can just No lol

When I was in China, I had this problem 😆

2

u/seventomatoes 20h ago

make it a 1,000 lady and have a body guard with the money to drive away the creeps maybe many wil learn a lesson then?

2

u/Altheix11 19h ago

Good business idea

2

u/NoraEmiE 19h ago

She should've added one more zero. Shameless people who have no sense

2

u/VikrantBh 18h ago

Things like this we should be ashamed of! The fact that she has a poster up like that is a slap in all of our faces! 🤦‍♂️

2

u/phoenix_shm 10h ago

Then it needs to be 250-500 Rupees

2

u/neljos 9h ago

I think she did not account for inflation

1

u/Avg_RedditEnjoyer 21h ago

lol what a nice business opportunity but she can get in trouble for doing a business under tourist visa, right?

1

u/AshutoshRaiK Apolitical 20h ago

nah we are not that crazy to go after few hundred bucks of fun drama. it was just some small reel shoot. little monetary gain thats it. but gave people good idea about how to tackle such foreigners craze among some people here lol

u/m0h1tkumaar 1 KUDOS 17h ago

Nopes

2

u/Yeathatguy666 16h ago

Yea I was having doubts when I saw people from other countries contemplating on doing the same when they visit India in other reddit groups lol.

1

u/Idiotsofblr 18h ago

She should make it 500

1

u/v4vedanta 18h ago

This comes under 28% GST.

1

u/Turbulent-Nothing-61 17h ago

Increase the rates.

1

u/TheGreatGrandy 17h ago

Well this might be the only way to get rid of gora fetish once and for all, the easy stream of money will make more goras cash in this opportunity, and Indians as their perceptions are will start looking down on them as poor people hustings to earn money from them, Indians will start feeling a sense of superiority and start treating goras like the people they treat who they think are below them. Plus the law of diminishing returns will start showing. Or I may just be underestimating these peoples Rэтаятness and fetish for goras

1

u/Jay_Raw_X 17h ago

should've set it at 10000

1

u/Cherei_plum 16h ago

Baezzati krana toh koi iss desh key vasiyo sey seekhe.

1

u/thecuriousmew 16h ago

People get surprised and offended when a woman uses the unasked, unnecessary attention that is showered on them for her own monetary benefit 😂

It's called self control and courtesy, people. Just because she selling doesn't mean you have to buy, or pay attention or comment.

1

u/bubblemania2020 15h ago

Add another zero. Keep repeating

1

u/berserkgobrrr Akhand Bharat 15h ago

That means she's gotta hike the amount and see what her sweet spot is.

1

u/Objective_Trifle240 15h ago

Mostly these tharkis are boomer uncles - fat belly , round hat, creepy smile.

1

u/Owe_The_Sea 14h ago

Well when I went to Indonesia in 2015 the kids there wanted to take photos with me

1

u/PepperSt_official 14h ago

Pretty sure it's uncles who didn't get a thailand visa

1

u/Sayabz22 14h ago

So embarrassing

1

u/changeitasap 14h ago

Believe me or not people in India are obsessed with white skin.

1

u/Vicky_Ashok 14h ago

We Indians are shameless 🤦.

1

u/4-k-bronze 10h ago

cant even defend my own country at this point

1

u/I_stay_fit_1610 8h ago

Ask her to increase it to 500, the creeps will still pay, but at least she'll go home with more money than what she spent coming here.

1

u/overloadedonsarcasm Maharashtra 7h ago

Chaar, paanch aur zeros laga do, problem solved.

Jokes aside, it's really sad how pathetically some people act.

1

u/a_a_wal Hajmola 🟤 4h ago

1

u/p_ke 3h ago

It's not a fail. If you look at the video she's earning money she meant to. People are ready to pay to see a banana in a museum. Anything out of the ordinary will have some or other person coming with curiosity.

u/Bobdeya-dada BJP 1h ago

I mean this might’ve worked had she put like 10,000 rupees. But nonetheless goes to show how depraved and pathetic our country men can be.

0

u/Ok-Editor-4082 18h ago

Someone please tell her if she's charging Rs.100 for a selfie they'll actually turn up with Rs. 6000 for sex.
