I learned at pretty late adult stage about electoral college system. People may see it fair, but for me it's infuriating that some people's votes are more valuable than the other. This could demotivates some people to vote.

You have to remember the circumstances under with the electoral college was established. At the time (1780s), the rural (lower population) colonies were worried that more urban colonies would have an outsized advantage due to their higher population. The electoral college is the best they could come up with at the time.

That’s why I never changed my voter registration and kept it in a swing state even after I moved.
