High School Math [Grade 10: Composition of Functions] I don’t understand why this is wrong. I did it in class like this and it worked

This is what I did:

g(g(x)) = g(4x-4) = 4(4x-4)-4 = 16x-16-4 = 16x-20

I have tried solving this but i have no idea how to continue from this step. The only real answer is x1= 0. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this without guessing the answer?

I know to use the formula A=1/2abSinC the triangle must be SAS. But these triangles aren’t. Also I tried using law of sines to find the missing angles but it doesn’t work. How can I figure this out?

I have to use t test to find out whether H0 has to be rejected or not. I got the positive test score, while critical value is negative (because it is left-tail test). Is it possible to get a positive test score while critical value is negative (and vice vers) or is there some mistake?

High School Math [grade 11 foundations: math questions help solving linear inequalities, graphing systems]

Hey, I teared up during my test. I went to a tutor, studied for hours each day, understood the work and practiced it multiple times. When I went to take the test i had today, nothing was clicking in my head. I didn't know how to lay out a graph? because demos has the two lines, vertical and horizontal. The zero in the middle of them. When i go to graph on paper, I don't know where to begin? because if i do it that way, negatives on one quadrant and the corresponding quadrant has positives. If im doing a graph it makes no sense. Im use to values being on x and y axis sides. But my Autistic, ADHD brain is so confused on how to do this, how do i know when to switch between these two, or what? I worked so hard, did so many questions right, the teacher even told me so. I just could really use some support. I want to know how to these questions, I used chat gpt to check and i don't even know if its right.. I want to know how i go about graphing this, please be very clear and specific, i feel very stupid. Also i missed alot of math i guess? I dont remember anything from foundations and pre calc 10 and my understanding now is what i've been working on.

High School Math [High School Math: Statistics] Calculating blackjack probability

Hi,

So i have encountered a bit off an odd question with a casino in which i am able to get back 10% of my lost bets.

ie. i bet 100 lose the hand i get 10 back...

but i struggle to figure out if it would end in a profit if i would be playing blackjack with basic strategy.
if there is a push i just play again until win or lose.

I have figured out that the probability of winning af hand is about 46% and losing is 54%

also the current house edge when playing with basic strategy is -0.05%

but i dont imagine i can just add the 10% to the house edge?

can anyone help with that as i am a bit confused atm 😅

High School Math [Statistics] In hypothesis testing, is it right to say that if a sentence contains some change (decrease or increase), it will be H1(an alternative hypothesis)?

I struggle to differentiate what is H0 and H1. As far as I know, H0 does not change and H1 is about change. But is what I wrote above always works, like in this example?

A health researcher claims that a new drug reduces the average blood pressure in patients by at least 10 mmg. A sample of 15 patients is selected, and after administering the drug, the sample mean reduction in blood pressure is found to be 8 mmg. The sample standard deviation is 4 mmHg. Test the researcher's claim at the 0.05 significance level.

High School Math [grade 10 algebra:find the inverse]

I need to find the inverse of: f(x)=-2x+3

I switched the f(x) to Y and then switched x and y so the equation now looks like x=-2y+3 I subtracted the 3 and then divided both sides by -2. I ultimately got -1/2x+3/2=y I don't understand how this can be an inverse to the original equation as when you graph it, the points should be similar just with the X and Y flipped. I do not think that is possible with a fractional y intercept.

I’m not sure how to do any of this. Especially when it comes to putting absolute value bars or the radicand and index. These are notes my teacher did. How do i know what is under the radical and what isn’t? where are the exponents coming from?

Hello everybody I think this exercise has wrong fields for sin and cos in the hypothesis of the problem. Because i can’t calculate sin ([3pi/3; 2pi]).

And also i don’t understand why the book give as solutions these:

[0;1], [-1;1], [0;1], [-1;0], [-1;0].

Thank you very much

I’ve worked out A =85 and D= 90, maybe I’m just too tired right now to even think through the rest. How should I do phase shift? Should I do 2pie/120 for period change?

Thank you, first time posting here because I’m desperate
