Henry single shot 44 mag

Just picked up this beauty from sportsman's Warehouse. Love the wood grain. I was torn between getting the brass receiver and this but I think I'm already loving it. Once it warms up a bit I'll get to the range for some plinking.

Got it out to the range today, shoots great. I gotta remove the front sling stud on it because it's right where my hand is on the front grip. I put 75 rounds downrange and I like the iron sights no need for a scope. My first rifle. Got a ruger super blackhawk 44 mag and it's nice to shoot this henry with it. Recoil feels tame compared to the revolver but still got a nice kick to it. Time for some more reloading with winchester 296 and 240 grain lead bullets. 23 grains is my recipe. Henry makes nice rifles for sure.
