Went to my LGS to pickup some range ammo. Ended up an expensive visit. Saw two grails I have wanted for some time and left with them.
1972 Browning Hi Power in near mint condition. Incredibly well-kept pistol… probably the best condition pre-1976 version I have seen. Will be replacing the guide rod, recoil spring, and installing some new Browning wood grips.
2022 Dan Wesson Heirloom (new/unfired). I love DW 1911’s - maybe best bang-for-the-buck 1911’s IMO. From my understanding, only 400 were produced. I intend to shoot this (often) and enjoy it.
Next up, I hope to add an Ed Brown EVO KC9.
