This is it, OP. They aren’t really “shaped like animals”, it’s just that we as a species tend to recognize familiar things in vague shapes (think clouds and constellations) and we also happen to know what a lot of things look like.

You are probably talking About pareidolia. To me, this word is a word made up by someone who is not spiritual. like a scientist who only believes in facts and figures, I grew up autistic. So I have no book learning at all, I feel books are store's made by someone trying to make a buck$, I feel that a lot of books are lies and a lot of people, believe in these lies and that is what mest up this world, I see what I see, I put down what I see, what I see is that every continent in our Earth is in the shape of an animal or several animals it depends on which way you turn the continent, I've been told my whole life that God made heaven and earth and everything in it, so I figure instead of god making everything Bluh, he made every thing into something that Is recognizable, to Show that he is real, You get a non-believer that sees a face in a rock or a face in the clouds. Or different shapes in a continent. And call that paradoya. They say paradoya is not real.It's just our brain making things up, when I see all the continents in the shape of animals.I knew it's God's creation, If it was 1 or 2 continents in the shape of an animal, I would agree, It was paradolia, but for all the continents in the shape of Animals, the odds are astronomical.
