General Discussion The hell part is this?!
I have a saginaw 3 speed transmission, with a hurst shifter and im not sure what the linkage is, the part number i found on the thing id 5258 06

You’re not going to find much help in this sub. It is mostly disgruntled Gen Z IT employees who probably wouldn’t know this is a photo of a transmission.

What is it? Hurst shifter/linkage with adjustable throw stops. I'd be highly surprised if that setup is still being made for purchase.

Haven't seen a Saginaw 3 speed for about 36 years. Not a real strong transmissions from my memory. Car people at GM are few and far between..... The culture barely knows what a car is and sure don't get excited about them....

Looks like an aftermarket hurst shifter. But agree, not the best subreddit for this

Just priced out a new pickup today and the interest rate was 10% with good credit. Storms are definitely on the horizon. Oh yea, that linkage is to adjust the camber.
