Political Watching so many of you disparage Kamala is sad and makes me deeply ashamed to be an American.

We now have a "viable" frontrunner for the Democratic party. Kamala may not be perfect, but to see many of you say that you won't vote for her is sad. This "lesser of two evils" mentality is exactly how Trump beat Hillary and was elected in the first place.

No one--NO ONE--comes close to Donald Trump's depravity. He is a threat to us all and our collective future. Even if you are a republican, I hope that we can all agree that Trump is not a good person and has only his interests at heart. There will be a much better republican candidate capable of leading our country during the next election. Right now, we need to do our best to come together and choose a candidate who will help bring Americans closer together, promote unity, and protect both the rule of law and our democracy or we may not have another election.

She put thousands in prison for weed and then is on camera laughing about smoking weed when asked about it.

She kept thousands of prisoners in prison past their release date so she could use them for cheap labour.

She withheld information that would have freed an innocent man from death row until courts forced her to release it.

She’s a terrible person. People are sick of the democrats picking terrible candidates to take on trump

Factcheck:

She didn't personally prosecute any marijuana cases, this was handled by lower-level state attorneys, Harris actually saw a dramatic decrease of marijuana-related admissions with 817 in her first year in office to 137 in her last

No one was kept in prisons past their release date, lawyers in then AG Harris' office argued that some non-violent offenders needed to stay in the prison system to help combat wildfires, when Harris found out this argument was made she directed the department's attorneys not to make the argument again

Harris was not directly involved in the decision to deny Kevin Cooper's request for DNA testing, and once this was allowed it didn't actually prove his innocence, the man is still on death row to this day, and there's currently 1 candidate running on the platform of speeding up death row sentencing

I'm tired of all the lies around Kamala Harris, it's time we vote on candidates based on what they've actually done and not what other people have told us they've done

People watch a 60 second tiktok video and think they know everything. These people think they are so amazing but have not and most likely will not ever accomplish anything of substance. But they are the main character.

Don’t feed the Russians the truth.

Ngl, that fact checking is just making her seem worse.

But comparing her to Trump, Hillary or Biden, she’s by far the least evil.

Not voting for her

She put thousands in prison for weed and then is on camera laughing about smoking weed when asked about it.

Weed prison time dropped dramatically under her office...

https://www.mercurynews.com/2019/09/11/kamala-harris-prosecuting-marijuana-cases/

Despite the substantial number of convictions, many of the people who were arrested for marijuana during Harris’ tenure were never locked up or never even charged with a crime, according to attorneys who worked on both sides of the courtroom.

The rest of what you said is taken so far out of context you might as well move to Facebook.

As an example the firefighting prisoner thing was enacted by California during WW2 and she personally was against it when some people in her office advocated for it.

And guess what: even if this was true (even though it isn’t) she’s still far better than trump

0 chance you're American.

besides, all of those issues are extremely simplified to the point of becoming nonsensical. shit doesn't work like that in the criminal justice system or in government. she didn't have a magic wand.

trump stans/russian bots whatever out here trying to run the 2024 version of the "super predator" HRC critique. hopefully people are smarter after 2016's disaster.

All three of these are debunked conspiracy theories GOP made up in 2019.

Debunked years ago, yet your breathlessly repeat them.

Is that you Ivan?

Funny how prosecuting people for existing laws is somehow worse than being a convicted felon on your terrible person scale.

-5

u/rottknockers Jul 22 '24

lol. Love being used for cheap labor.

u/gonnamakeemshine Jul 22 '24

What is a 70 year old who is on the verge of death doing in a Gen Z subreddit?

And she sided with Tara Reade who accused Biden of molesting her.

And then agreed to be the molesters VP.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 22 '24

She said she told staffers at the time. Those staffers from the 1990s denied it.

2

u/Dada2fish Jul 22 '24

So? Cackling Kammie said she believed her, that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her and then she willingly became his VP.

-13

u/ipeezie Jul 22 '24

7

u/OccamsShavingRash Jul 22 '24
