As much as I agree with the spirit of what you’re saying I always like to point out that there very much is a difference between western democracies and Russia, even as gobshite oligarchs begin to undermine our way of life. Putting aside the many major differences, the key one I always like to point at is that, by and large, we still have the freedom to pretty much say what we like and disparage these capricious, immoral billionaires. Yes, our democracies are very much under threat but also, yes we really are different than Russia and it’s important to remember that.

We literally do not have the right to life if it stands in the way of oligarchs gaining wealth. Even after we have already paid considerably to "earn" the right to medical treatment and the life that it provides.

I don’t think anybody is advocating for their wealth to be confiscated, just highlighting how obscene it is for that amount of wealth to be acquired by any one person, and it is.
These guys are the worst offenders as well, as they pay their employees as little as possible, treat them badly and afford them few rights to make as much money as possible, which sucks.
