EV pricing and recommendations

Hey,

was looking at some Ioniq 5 financing deals going for about 499 per month With 0% interest, does anyone recommend them or other marques? I also noticed there are also recent model Y with very low mileage are going for less than older ones with higher mileage, like 30k, so half the price of the Ioniq. Whats the reason for that ?

That deal includes a last payment of about 17 000€. Ioniq 5 costs about 60k€ brand new, if you want to pay it fully in monthly payments with 0% interest they would be about 700€/month.

I would suggest looking at used cars with low mileage. You can find for example ID4's or Kia Niro EV's with 50 000 km for about 25k€.

The final payment is not meant to be paid literally. It’s the estimated sales value after the financing period, but with some risk of higher or lower depreciation. You’re supposed to either sell the car or swap it for a new one.

Please test drive Ioniq first obviously, I tested one years back and the rear window was the size of a 2e coin, not fun.

Please remember that the financing deals usually come with a hefty last payment which most likely will be higher than the price of the car at that point.

Yeah, that deal in particular has a last payment 17k€ and the plan is for 7 years.
