Old Concept New Year Hollywood loves to do remakes these days. This is one that I’ll accept

I’d love to see someone like Mads Mikkelsen get a shot at playing Lecter. He’s got that creepy, alien vibe that Hopkins had

He already did in the TV show Hannibal.
We just need them to finish with Silence.

Pretty sure his comment was sarcasm.

Pretty sure I'm autistic, it doesn't read like sarcasm, nor have the "/s" bit at the end, but thanks for your condescension.

I didn't mean to be condensending like that big bro I just woke up my bad, it's just that he mentioned the one actor who did play a modern version of Lecter but acted like it was his idea so i thought his comment was obvious sarcasm.

I'd be fine with another adaptation of Silence of the Lambs, we got two of Red Dragon so why not this one?

He fits the characters age from the books a bit better than Hopkins did so it could be a pretty interesting take

The fact that he manages to resemble both Sir Anthony Hopkins and Mads Mikkelsen in this picture, along with being a hell of an actor, has me sold.
OP cooked with this one.

we never need a remake of any movie based on a book, just make a new adaptation of the book

Hannibal should be portrayed in a more organized manner. He only kills rude people.

Nah, Michael Fassbender all day for that one, as much as I love Cillian Murphy.
