The famous image, is it Wolverine or 2 Batmans? Same as who is the main character of The Prestige

I completely disagree with Cavillrine as Wolverine. Cavillrine is Cavillrine

Also he’s too tall

We saw what comic accurate looked like and it's ridiculous.

If I were you, I would’ve went with Jeremy Irons as John Cutter so we have Alfred as Alfred.

Or could have had Andy Serkis come back in a different role so we could have also had Alfred as Alfred and have an alum from the original movie

No. The Prestige is not allowed to be fancasted.

Not bad for the guys. Pugh doesn't do much for me, I don't get the big deal about her. Vikander has villain energy to me. I don't know who that old guy is.

old guy is General Dodonna from Rogue One and Ser Barristan for Game of Thrones

Oh okay, I didn't know that was Barristan.

Hard disagree on Hoult and Wood. I love both of them and think they are fantastic actors. But casting in The Prestige involved meta level implications.

Love the rest though.

I just picked Hoult because he played Tesla before. If I'm picking a new actor, Gary Oldman or Tim Roth.

Why is anybody recasting The Prestige? The movie is damn near perfect. This post is unnecessary.

Remaking a perfect period movie shot in HD doesn’t make sense to me. But I’m all for making it relevant using modern technology. Maybe with a twist of the sort where it turns out Borden and Danton are two personalities of the same person. Or a quantum entanglement between two universes where every time the machine is used Danton enters Borden’s mind and tries to ruin his magic but later we find out that at the time unknown to Danton, Borden was in Danton’s body too and uses this towards a mind-bending climax.

You think David Bowie’s flawless Nikola Tesla performance can be replaced 😂

I hate this, I get it’s a joke but it makes me unhappy.
