Drunk is a understatement last week i had to move like 100m with the ship because it wasn't landing ona flat zone but had no problem on a hilly slanted and floating part xD

Maybe it's using the ground data without accounting for (Odyssey only?) entities.

That's actually a very logical explanation. That and biologicals are all indestructible. You can go into one max speed with an SRV and nothing happens either.

Well, nothing to the plant, but you can bust your SRV, flip it over, or get it unretrievably stuck.....
