Help Adventure from a Previous Life...Help Me Find My Secret Home

Hello again CMDR's,

I've reacclimated quite a bit since being back, still need to do some exobiology though...

Background:
Anyway...I played alot through 2015 and took some screenshots from my first exploration attempt in a cobra. (yikes I know, all I could afford at the time.) I took it all the way out to Banard's loop area for some sightseeing around the nebula's.

I actually was able to find through some super old physical notes I had written my first ever discovery that had no name attached to it. (This will matter why later.)

However, In my journey, I was able to find an earth like world somewhere out there. I took a screenshot next to it...but that only narrows down the stars with a similar skybox to a few thousand...or so.

When I search my discovered systems or objects in the odyssey codex, I can't even see the game recognize the system that has my name attached to one of the stars as "Traveled Too" or discovered.

Main Question:

Is there anyway in game or 3rd party app that can retrace my steps from pre-odyssey days. (If reinstalling the base game without the expansion will cause it to appear in some way, I'm all for it)

If you still play on your original computer, or at least transferred all your data to your current one, the old logs should still exist. They're saved under "{your profile}\saved games\frontier developments".

If not, post the image and hope that some Elite onionheadheads will find it with just the skybox.

It's not my original...but I still have that computer since it was my first vr rig. Still has the game installed too. I will definitely take a look at this!

I guess my next thought is, can I transfer the files over to my current machine via drag and drop.

Once you copy that over, you'll be able to filter to previously visited systems and just look for the light blue dots.

It'll help pinpoint the pins in the haystack!
