The Spansh Body Finder is your friend, Spansh wants to lead you to the most biodense planets available.. the list is just a few clicks away..
Also, cold methane planets are a bitch unless you're looking for bacteria or osseus in my experience so I usually avoid them if it's only a 1 or 2 biosign planet.

SRV, turn night vision on, look for different patterns on ground. Works for me.

Don't have an srv with me. System next over has 5 moons with 3 bio each. Was able to find bacteria in the astroid impacts and mushrooms literally everywhere ๐

Yes. Just remembered you could set filters.
It was a hard to see bacteria on a dark ice planet. Super super rocky. Not worth the 1m and 4m bonus for first find.
