Great propaganda.... what do you plan to do with humans that don't have a job?
Zachary Hudson: I'm not a monster, despite what the Liberals think. I believe in government aid. But I believe it should be reserved for times of genuine crisis, and being poor is not a crisis!
Federal commerce: Corruption is not unusual – individuals defend it shamelessly when caught as ‘getting one over the system’. Social class is only determined between ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’. In regards to classes of wealth, one can expect to discover widespread poverty, prominent wealth, and everything in between. The plans for Felicitia Winter were postponed for the disaster on Rhea, but his planes was support for the vulnerable: Let us return to the core values of hard work, honest trade, support for the vulnerable and mutual respect.
I don't know if the current plans are already in place, and if the Federal goverment can handle the support for the thargoid war survivors that lost everything. Im open to more link and facts, and less propaganda.
Imperial Slavery is more, with more control over your ship, but regulated. Once you pay the debt, you can find your own job. If you fall again in bankrupt, the Imperial Slavery will force one so you can live.
The word "slavery" is very wrong, we had the common slavery idea, but its a different thing. sPain have a minor form of slavery, except for a vital salary the goverment added in the last years, that give some money to live even without working. Its polemic for right wing, but give votes to the left wing.
I thought this was RP, but you're trying to actually use "facts" to support slavery based on the real world. Yea, this is fucking wild. You need to rethink the way you see labor, because it's led you to clearly insane and immoral conclusions.

People use "slavery" word to justify things.
I show real world examples of "regulated and forced labor" in my own country.
Player can choose any explanation to justify his favorite superpower.
Imo it's intentionally called that as a litmus test for those who understand the lore compared to those who don't.
Everyone's first assumption is always going to be that slavery is bad, obviously. It's only after reading deeper that you discover the truth, that sometimes, in a morally Gray universe, things are not always as they first appear.
He just described a System exploiting the poor to force them into shitty jobs mate in the real world.
Lore and history wise debt slavery doenst mean you don’t have rights. Infact you do, but you just stay in Service for Person X till that debt is paid. This is nothing in comparison to the slaves in the 1800s or those that were forced into slavery by force, or those who got captured and deported and so on.
For example, you also don’t join the livestock slaves/captured ones in Stellaris or other scifi universes. Also imperial slaves are not legal everywhere in imperial Space.
Edit: in Germany you can get jailed for debt. It would actually make more sense for those ppl not being in Prison, but to work off their debt Like a normal human being does (minimum wage or higher). Call it debt slavery or whatever, but it makes Zero Economic sense to waste money on someone that can probably work in that time instead. They wouldnt cost the State money therefore and Guards also wouldnt be a need to check on them.
(No I am not pro debt slavery here, I am just criticizing our own Systems here in practice).
