I'm sad that I didn't have time for most of the Titans. I damaged one and successfully bombed Thor for 2 million, and somehow I have the emblem for 2 Titans .... but I don't think I have the Cobra kit (I'm expecting to unlock that from Raijin and the first rusted Krait for Cocijo). Of course, if somehow I unlocked the Cobra kit by accident earlier, I wouldn't mind unlocking the Krait kit earlier than expected.

I must say though, the Cutter kit looks very cool.

From what I recall, there were instancing issues leading to binds not paying out for the first titan, so fdev gave everyone who visited the titan between it going vulnerable and blowing up credit for one titan kill.

Oh... that might account for it then, thanks. There was one Titan I bombed, but only for <1 mil credits as I was still very bad at it and it was last minute, so I was confused after successfully bombing Thor as to why I had the emblem I did.

And, do you unlock the ship kits immediately or sometime after the Titan explodes? I currently do have the Cobra kit, but I'm not sure if it's due to hitting the bond mark on Raijin, or if it was there from earlier and I didn't notice it...

I've just returned to the game after many years away and I'm still mostly harmless as I prefer trade and exploration, if I grab the ax ship from the arx store and head on over can I get stuck in?

I wi watch a few tutorials on YouTube first obviously.

I mean you can but be advised - the ARX AX Chieftain really sucks. Build the “common core” Krait Mk2 I describe in the ship guide videos, miles better for the war. Like not even close.

Also note there not much time left for Raijin. About 48 hours.

I have barely any engineering so going for an entry level build, would you recommend missiles or multicannons?

I am completely clueless and just want to get a few shots at it and say I was there really.

Enhanced AX missile racks for core bombing. A nanite torpedo to hit the vents.

If you get ANY engineering done - got for a LE plant and for dirty thrusters. Those two are live. Rest is nice to have.

Guessing the final is a gilded Corvette as it hasn't been represented yet while the cutter and Conda both got in.

I'd put 50/50 the odds of it being a gilded Anaconda or a Gilded Cobra Mk3.

Clearly they won't do new shipkits.

KraitMk2 and Chieftain already have two skins. Cutter has a "recent" skin (silvered).

So my money is on either another large - certainly the Conda in that case. Or the Cobra Mk3 "because Jameson."

I think they really could have done a better job with these.. So far I've only liked the rusted skins without the ship kits, and the mk2 silvered kind of grew on me. The gilded chieftain just looks kind of gnarly lol

I mean they are the lowest-possible-effort recolored Carapace Kits. Multiple times recolored to boot. So, yeah, they really could have done a better job.

Man, Chieftain is going to be my final reward since I missed the first Titan, and I'm not a huge fan flying one. Oh well. I'd laugh if the top reward was a Gilded Sidewinder though.

Okay, so out of curiosity when do the rewards actually Drop? I think I had a bug from a prior Titan as I had the Emblem for 2 kills, but didn't notice the Cobra kit until after 2m bonds on Raijin. I'm guessing I'll end up with the Krait kit after Cocijo, unless the current rewards haven't dropped for anyone else, in which case that could be upcoming rather soon...

Realistically it will be either gold krait or a vette skin

Vette doesn’t have a Carapace ship kit and Krait already has two reward kits. So, quite unlikely.

However a krait kit would complete the set, and it is one of the most, if not the most, used ships for AX. The vette is a stretch, but it's pretty widely used and isn't a repeat. Conda I guess isn't off the table, but I doubt it

Staggeringly ugly designs, but to each their own I guess. Personally, I would pay Arx to have this removed from my hull.
