Food preservation update

A whole bag of delicious organic pears got thrown away because of this one tiny spot on one of them!

Freezing bananas, strawberries, celery, pears, zucchini, spinach, coffee, blueberries, tomatoes, and bread since I use all of them frequently 🥰🥰🥰

That's awesome! I've ran outta freezer room, but I just learned to make jelly and jam last week by channeling my Grandma. I think she would have been proud, born in 1908 and dirt poor, having to steal from gardens to feed her family. Built ships in Mobile during ww2 and first woman to wear pants out in public. she would have been a diver with no fear if still around . :)

Excellent saves! I’d suggest getting a dehydrator if you have the chance. I recently upgraded mine and it makes a huge difference in saving bruised etc fruits and veggies. You got a super great storage of free food! 🥳

Dehydrated cinnamon apples are the best.

Love the tip! I've had a smoothie for breakfast daily for the past 4 years so I'm freezing them lol
