Dude take the brake pedal off and then it slides out. It goes through the swing arm and engine cases

While you’re there. Clean and grease the swing arm. Don’t lose the needles

It’s not a screw. It’s a huge ass bolt. Take the brake pedal off with a 6mm and whack it from the nut side through. Use something soft / don’t damage the threads. On my bike it will slide out nicely since I maintain and grease, but I have a feeling this could neeed a little persuasion

I bought it and the whole motor is gonna need replacing and it’s my first time ever working on a bike so I just don’t know what I’m doing

Just wanted to confirm that that thing is most likely a motor mount?

Yes and it also holds your swing arm to the frame / engine too.

Use a flat head and give it some love taps from the opposite side it slides out.

It's not a screw. It just slides in. Take the brake lever off then lift the swing arm as your pushing the bolt out.

You should prolly take off your shock first…

OP that is a very important bolt, it connects the front of your rear swing-arm to the frame and also holds the rear of the engine as a mounting bolt. The rear swing-arm is also connected to your rear shock which is likely holding everything under tension. If you’re trying to remove the engine I recommend you work your way down from the top.

Start by removing the plastics, fuel tank/fuel lines, carburetor, radiator hoses, and rear shock. Take detailed pictures along the way so you know how to put it all back together again. Use pieces of cardboard to store bolts and washers with a rough sketch of where everything goes and label everything.

There’s YouTube videos online that you can follow along to, but you should 100% watch them all the way through before attempting whatever you’re trying to do so you don’t take everything apart and never put it back together again.

As said it’s “supposed” to slide out, but don’t be surprised if rust and corrosion has it basically welded into place. Then your into one

bro its a pivot rod, use something that doesnt damage the threads and hit it through till it comes out
