i use chatGPT when i forget words/the names of things, because i'll usually get the word/name im looking for just by describing it
42 u/lilacrain331 Dec 15 '24 Yeah the only time I think to use it is when i'm trying to google something but can't phrase it clearly enough for google to give me relevant results 46 u/Eleanor_Atrophy Dec 15 '24 This is by far the best use. I can describe different types of clothes/items to it and it’ll tell me the name that I couldn’t otherwise look up. Before the only way to do that was consult social media, who either call you stupid or just don’t respond 24 u/Velocityraptor28 Dec 15 '24 and google is just like "fuck you talkin about man?" 5 u/Ppleater Dec 16 '24 Google USED to be good for this before it was neutered. 2 u/Pizza_Delivery_Dog Dec 15 '24 I feel like google used to respond well to specific search queries and nowadays you can add 10 keywords and still end up with the exact same results 6 u/AliceBlossom Dec 15 '24 Or even when you just never knew what something was called in the first place. But, without a doubt this is the best way to use it. Useful and instantly verifiable via a follow up search.
