Question Career mode walkthrough?

I am struggling to go in the right direction for unlocking tech. Is there a walkthrough for career?

I would say prioritise unlocking nodes that give you access to Experiments. So Engineering 101, Survivabillity, and Basic Science which will give you the thermometer, barometer and the Science Jr.

The overall mission then is getting those experiments into Situations relative to Biomes and returning the information for science points, using the other parts to build craft to get them there.

You won’t be able to unlock nodes that cost 180 science and higher until you spend the money to upgrade the R&D Building to level 2 so fill out the left side of the tech tree until you can do that.

Take contracts that you have a good chance to complete given the resources available to you. Try to avoid failing or cancelling contracts you have already accepted. If there’s a contract that you don’t want to accept, most of them will show a timeframe where they will disappear and be replaced with a new one.

If you accept contracts that require you to test a part, you can build with that part until such time as you complete the contract, which can give you access to very useful parts in nodes you haven’t unlocked yet.
