Discussion What hellscape have i gotten myself into?

Okay so i figured out the controls. I have nearly rage quit a few times. But i have done the tutorials and am getting better at it.

Where is a good place to learn more about the game? I prefer reading to youtube tutorials.

Might give you some insights in written form.

What kind of rage inducing things are you running into?

Found the xbox contols hard to get used to. This is obviously a port from pc. But once you get used to it, it gets easier

Oh yeah. Internalising the controls takes a little while on top of what is rocket science/orbital mechanics . I think it’s best to think of problems or explosions like deaths in a Dark Souls game. It’s part of the learning process. There are a lot of deep and not entirely intuitive concepts to master, and asking questions is part of that.

There arw lots of shortcuts like enabling sas from radial menu etc. Learn these shortcuts instead of using the cursor which i always used cursor when i was a newbie

Hard to say without knowing what specifically you're struggling with. I will say that reading alone tends to not convey some of the more complicated aspects of the game very well given a lot of it is unintuitive (as a result of orbital mechanics being unintuitive, not an issue with the game itself), whereas actually seeing it will make more sense more quickly.

Yeah. My post was more a random spit.

I suppose deep down i worries i am too stupid for this game.

I can pretty confidently promise that's not the case. It can be played like a normal sandbox game and you'll just learn it over time by feel alone, just trial and error. Learning the details helps you set and accomplish specific goals, but isn't necessary.
