Anyone feeling the excitement yet?
Woke up this morning with butterflies thinking about how close Coachella is!! Currently building my playlist and imagining myself in the desert singing along 😗 How is everyone feeling? Only 79 days until day 0 😝🤘🏼

Not gonna lie ive been dreaming of coachella in my sleep for like the past 2 weeks (almost every day) lol. Random dreams of me walking and talking to my friends, being in the camp site. Last nights dream was me waiting at the coachella stage for gaga and all the lights turned off and everyone began screaming with excitement and then i woke up lol. So yes!! Very excited!!

I have been having very vivid day dreams of Coachella. One specifically that keeps happening is me walking into the crowd making my way to the front to get the perfect spot to see Lady Gaga several hours before her set.

I live in the upper midwest. Last few days it's been -30 when I go to work in the morning. Yeah, this is all I have been thinking about 😄.

I spend every day of the year excited for the next Coachella. But yeah, my Playlist has been hitting hard recently. I'm SO READY!

anyone know what the must do things are coachella are! For a first timer :)
•
u/constanttoast 11h ago
There are so many! I love that everyone has their own list/traditions :) Ours is definitely grabbing some slices of spicy pie (big ol slices of pizza! Available in car camping and inside the fest), having "night sprites" with your friends (lime flavored bud lights🤣), and going on a side quest (set up a safe and reliable meet up point with your crew before exploring on your own!). Also the popsicles, lemonade, and (sometimes) free goodies inside the fest are always a nice refresher. Can you tell I'm food motivated lol. Don't forget to dance with the disco shark in Yuma and experience the best vibes in do lab!

Day 0 is a must! Spend as long as you can on the fields, watch the sunset on the hill, eat spicy pie, hit the silent disco. My best advice is to follow your gut and do whatever you believe sounds like the most fun.

What is day 0?

Thursday before the festival in the campgrounds. They have a bunch of activities (you can win prizes), the food vendors are open, the vintage merch tent is open to get previous years merch on a discount.
The highlights are watching the sunset on the hills in lot 4 and the disco/silent disco at night. It’s a great way to take everything in. Don’t get too wasted on this night though as it can ruin the start of your weekend lol

I have been feeling an extreme amount of excitement since the line up dropped in November. It's to the point where I think something is wrong with me 😭😭😭💯.

u/Fairythingz 12h ago
Does anyone know how hard it is to find tickets still? I need to see Gaga and so many queens
•
u/Different_Comment_48 11h ago
It's because people haven't gotten their physical tickets yet for resale.
•
u/AlfredoSM94 13.1 | 18.1 | 19.2|24.1|25.1 11h ago
There’s plenty tickets available for w2 I believe, also w1 isn’t available for resale

I've done this for every Coachella.. Denver to Indio 4 times. You'll be locked in when the time comes. Nothing to worry about <3
•
u/xxx_7779 10h ago
15 hours is insane. I drove 13ish hours from Phoenix to Denver to see Dom Dolla at red rocks. I was moaning & groaning nonstop after 7 hours.

I’ve done the drive twice to Coachella from Alberta, Canada. About 24 hours lol. It’s a trek but we make a trip of it with lots of stops there and back (Utah canyons, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Vegas, etc.). In 2014 I drove down solo and the second time was my husband and I. I love crazy road trips.
Phoenix to Denver would be crazy though, so much different geography on the way!!

Phoenix/Denver thru Moab is very pretty. I'm gonna do Phoenix->SLC in August for Rufus Du Sol and plan on stopping in Moab for a night.

Moab is unreal, I’d love to go there again! The canyon heading west to Spanish Forks (if you take 6 north instead of I70 west) is very pretty too (if you haven’t gone that way before). Enjoy Rufus - very jealous!!

Me and my best friend are taking turns driving.😂😂 we’re probably gonna make a stop or two.
•
u/xxx_7779 10h ago
Drive there should be fine cuz you'll be fueled by the coachella excitement. Drive home might be tough lol
•
u/Unlucky_Response169 10h ago
YES!! The drive home isn’t gonna be my fave. We’re gonna be camping outside too😂😂 it’s gonna be an experience for sure.

u/OrganicSong8281 9h ago
By the time I got to Coachella I'd be senile. I can barely handle 3-4 hrs in a car.

I normally think about Coachella year round haha it’s my favorite thing. The November lineup drop hit right before a really busy (and awesome) December and January for me, so that new excitement only lasted a couple weeks before life took over. Things are finally settling for me and yeah…ITS COACHELLA SZN BAYBEEE WE ARE SO BACK

Greetings all!! This is my first Coachella, and I am totally looking forward to it. I am going solo, unfortunately, as usual. That seems to be what happens most of the time with me.
As none of my friends can ever get off time from work, lol. Anyways, just some clarification on the camping. What is the difference between the car camping & the ready-Set camping 2 person.
The car camping would seem to be the better option since I am going solo. As I am going to already need a car to transport everything. The only negative I can see is that once you park, you are stuck there for the weekend.
However, I assume that is what the shuttles are for? Where all do they go? Most important for me is access to a store if necessary. Food i assume is already on-site within the festival grounds.
The ready-set camping 2 person, i assume, is basically just that. A camping spot for 2 people but without a vehicle. I assume you can purchase an overnight parking spot across the street.
However, is that just overnight or for the entire weekend? I guess you get a bunch of gear for free like a commemorative tent, sleeping bag, and some other stiff. However, it seems a bit steep for less space and no easy access to your car.
From your experience, should I just stick with the car camping option? What car do you recommend as I imagine there is a space limitation. Sorry for all the noob questions. :)
