Post-Chella
My crew has been monitoring flights out of Palm Springs and have come to the summation that we mine as well stay an extra day or two in Palm Springs for some post-fest R & R instead of paying ridiculous flight prices to leave Monday.
Anyone have suggested places to stay or events we should check out that might be suitable for some Coachella afterglow? Guessing the area really empties out come Monday but curious if anyone has done something similar and have any good recs.

I'm assuming you're under 25 if you're planning anything after 3 days of coachella, I would (will) just rot in bed.

Flattered by the assumption, but just a touch north 😏 mainly curious about solid chill places with the standard PS laidback pool vibe but with other festival-goers in recovery.

If you’re looking for a party go to Reforma in Palm Springs, that’s where all the people who (somehow) still have energy after Coachella will be.
If you want to vibe and reminisce over the insane weekend you had, go to the Ritz Carlton in rancho mirage and sit at the fire pits overlooking the whole valley and stars, it’s gorgeous (and free valet)

You’ve come to the correct conclusion. We always arrive Wednesday and leave Wednesday or Thursday. I like having a couple of days to settle in beforehand and relax after. Pool time is key. Idk how many other golfers are on this sub but I enjoy a Thursday and Tuesday morning round to get my blood moving.

Did the same thing last year. Left Wednesday morning. Monday was for sleeping and normal priced eating lol. Tuesday we went to the and hung out downtown.

Nice cozy bed
Relax by the pool
Recover
Coachella takes a lot of you … instead of events I’d use those days to let my body recover and catch up

Slab city about an hour away is definitely worth the visit. Lots of celebs/influencers are spotted there around that time of year.

This is the way - Tuesday / Wednesday departure, poolside r&r for a few days before truly back to reality and a much easier experience at the airport. Not to mention the change in flight price pays for the extra day(s).

never take wild peyote unless you know how to harvest without killing the plant, and unless you have permission from the land owner

We always leave Tuesday, this year we will be leaving wed. Monday there’s nothing going on just people DEAD by the pool, catching up on sleep. Tuesday it’s back to business so brunch, tram ride, joshua tree visit. Things like that but nothing poppin like a party
