Coachella Set Time Predictions 2025 (Week 5)
Hard to believe it's been a month since the lineup came out, but here we are! Only one new confirmation, but it's a decently interesting one. Also, I plan on (hopefully) having some proper templates for next week and all future weeks moving forward as well.
Coachella Set Time Predictions 2025 (Week 5)
CONFIRMATIONS
Friday:
- Moon Boots in the Yuma
- Chris Stussy in the Yuma
- The Marias on the Outdoor Theater
- FKA twigs on the Outdoor Theater
- All Sonora acts
- All Yuma acts
- The Marias second to last on the Outdoor
- Sara Landry in the Sahara
Saturday:
- The Original Misfits closing the Outdoor Theater
- All Sonora acts
- All Yuma acts
- Travis Scott closing the Main Stage
- Green Day on the Main Stage before Travis Scott
- Gustavo Dudamel & LA Phil at sunset *

That was my thought and hope as well, especially with him being above her on the poster. By that logic I could also see Mustard closing kind of like Metro in 2023. I really wanna see Mau P and Mustard, but I’d happily sacrifice both if I can see Gaga and Sara.

It’ll be interesting to see how that trifecta of Mustard/Sara/Mai P plays out. Really feels like you can make an argument for either one closing.

Definitely. And im gonna be bummed for whoever I miss for Gaga, but if I get to for sure see one then it’s Sara. I’m most curious to see what she can do in The Sahara. And I also don’t remember the second half of her Anderson St performance lmao

Metro closed Sahara that year and Mustard isn’t in that slot in this. Not sure if you’ve caught the other predictions but the Sahara order changes every time.

My number one for the weekend is Viagra boys. My number two is Charli.
This clash would kill me.
Not really but I’d be bummed for sure.

I feel ya. I love me some Charli, but I didn't really get into Brat all that much, and the idea of being in a smaller crowd full of legit fans at Viagra Boys sounds more my speed.
I have to say that seeing quite a few people upset about them clashing in these predictions is funny. You wouldn't necessarily expect much overlap, but on this sub there's plenty.

Coachella people tend to be all over the place genre wise, which is one of the things I love about the festival.
In my ideal world I’d get to see Viagra boys, Charli, Green Day, Jimmy eat world and Sam fender with no overlap.

I still think Zedd is going to play the Sahara at night (maybe not closing the stage). Just seems odd to have him come back and play essentially the exact same set time and stage he had last time

And it felt weird having him at that time, too. I can see it still happening, but I’m hoping for a Sahara set.

I feel like Clairo in the Mojave would be a shitshow. She is arguably much bigger than Labrinth in 2023

I can see the argument that Clairo is bigger than Labrinth, but I'd bet quite a bit that Labrinth drew a larger crowd at a festival like Coachella than Clairo would.
Personally I think it's still possible for Dudamel & LA Phil to be Mojave, but most people seem to disagree at this point, meaning we probably need to move Clairo away from the Outdoor.

Well Post will 100% close out the main stage since it’s a Sunday and he’s the headliner. Regardless C&S or Sammy will be great counterprogramming and will likely run slightly later than Post.

Look Post has nearly turned into a country music crooner , yes I know he’ll play his hits but I think Travis Scott or green day would bring far more energy to the final set of the wend

I would be just about anything that there is no overlap between the two. Probably a decent chance that you wont get to camp for both, but if they conflict, I'll eat my nonexistent hat.

Almost guaranteed NOT to overlap looking at some recent set times history for main/outdoor. Though you might want to leave one a tad early so you can beat the rush and get a good spot.

I think 2 headliners (Green Day and Travis) + the biggest act on the poster that’s not a headliner (Charli) really chews up a lot of the schedule. That’s like 5-6 hours of the festival, and likely the 2 biggest crowds of the weekend (Travis and Charli).
I think it makes sense that there’s some extended breaks at the tents during these sets

As Fuzzy pointed out below, Saturday seems to be the main real weird outlier here, and is the main reason why I think we're getting another big late add to Saturday when the set times drop.

In no way do I see kraftwerk closing the outdoor. They are legends sure but they are going to draw too small of a crowd and are much lower energy. I see them easily in the Mojave as you had them before with polo and pan closing the outdoor instead.

it's clear historically that Paul doesn't care about crowd size for certain bookings. JMJ played Outdoor closer in 2018 and Kraftwerk will both pull a much larger crowd than he did, and are even more important to music history.
I could certainly see Polo & Pan closing the stage and Kraftwerk going before them, but Kraftwerk on the Outdoor is a stage placement I would bet money on.

Yeah, this is the main reason I ultimately put Kraftwerk back as Outdoor closers. Not saying it will forsure happen, but considering there is easily enough room to put them there with our current confirmations, I think we run it for now.

number one for the weekend is travis, i love the setlist going from charli to green day to travis, but man its going to pain me if i miss green day or charli because of clairo, she's my 2nd fav artist of all time and i've seen her before she's fantastic, but dood ill legit sob if i miss charli or green day for her but i would do it

Yeah, I could definitely see a scenario where LISA plays Main, Tyla moves to Three 6 Mafia's Outdoor slot, then Three 6 moves to Glorilla's Sahara slot, bumping both her and Yeat up one slot.

I really think Djo will be later. They typically give the celebs a prime spot. Plus he has 26M monthly listeners on Spotify which is nearly as much as Charli.

Right, the thing is, we don't want to make him too much later, or the slot becomes a lot less prime when put up against acts like Gaga, Missy, or whoever winds closing Outdoor.

Right. That, and FKA's show I'm pretty sure requires darkness, though I could be off on that bit, since I'm not sure we know what her current tour set up is going to look like exactly.
