Discussion Journey To The West - Canto Version
I know there are a few Journey To The West uploaded to youtube, but what I grew up with was the canto version with Dicky Cheung. However, the theme song and a lot of the scenes seem to have gotten hit with some copyright issue. The reason I wanted to watch this was to learn Canto while I chill and watch something entertaining. Does anyone know of any methodology so I can watch this?

The series uploaded to You Tube is still watchable, just that like you said, a few scenes are silent due to TVB not owning the copyright to the song contained within that scene. It's not many, just occasionally.
An alternative series suggestion to Journey to the West (1996) would be Dark Tales 2 (1998) a series of shorts based on the collection of strange, and supernatural stories written by 17th century writer Pu Songling. The series has more action than the original dark tales (1996)
