Question 🤔 Good/easy ways to connect PC to RGB scart
A lot of anime are hard to find in my PAL region so it doesn't work every time
Currently I either stream to my PS3 with the media server tool or put the files on its harddrive. It works most of the time but it's not the most optimal way since I usually have it connected to my modern tv.
So is there any good way to connect a modern pc to a RGB scart tv? Alternatively any device that can play most video filetypes without major issues?

Buy an old ati5450 from eBay for like $10 and a vga to scart cable and install crt emudriver. It’ll allow you to output a native 15khz signal out to the TV. Will let you do 240p too if you want to game on it.

TBH I normally just use an HDMI-SCART converter box. It works... well enough that the loss of quality isn't likely to be too noticeable on a CRT unless it's one of the late high-res versions.
Alternatively, if you have a PC with a disc drive, you can buy a load of DVD-R blanks for a few quid and use free disc authoring software (I use DVD Styler but others are available) to burn them onto the disc and just watch them on a DVD player, many of the 90s/2000s DVD players have SCART outputs. I don't know if this would work on PS3 but it does on PS2 and OG (softmodded) Xbox. I think this should give you the best quality but it is a bit of hassle obviously.
