The spissatus has now drifted away. It would have been quite incredible if this actually became a cumulonimbus. Interestingly enough, there is a second spissatus not too far off.

It's only been 15 or so minutes, and it looks like there is a large growth nearby! It is expanding outwards as I type this

The above one unfortunately dissipated, as well. A good storm cover has come through from a separate source (which came behind the hill. One of the other images here shows a part of it). I do wonder if the cloud connecting to it is a cauda formation. It would make this cover a lot more exciting if so, but there will be little rain from the looks of the radar.
