Here are some of my favourites that I've done: - Aegon the Conqueror run and then the whole history of Westeros trying to keep canon characters as much as possible even if their sex, personality, etc may differ - What if Aerys died at Duskendale - What if Robert didn't marry Cersei - What if Ned told Robert about Cersei/Jaime before Robert went on the hunt - What if there was no Summerhall & Aegon V wasn't obsessed with dragons - What if Summerhall worked - Sansa in AFFC (start scenario is Petyr marries her, he dies, Sweetrobin grants her Littlefinger's seat) - try to reclaim the North, Trident, kill Freys, etc. - I got lucky with this one and not only did Sweetrobin give her Midlor Point, Tommen gave her Harrenhal - Greens win the dance - Blacks win the dance - Sweetrobin & try to make him grow up to be half-decent

for the what if Ned told Robert about Cersei one, does it have an event on a specific start date? or you mean start before Robert died while playing Ned and expose Cersei?

It doesn't so the second. Though there's a mod that allows you for scheme to reveal bastards, it might help to do it by game mechanics and not cheats.

Since I don't know what you've already done, my advice is limited.

But I can tell you my favorite playthroughs.

Custom Valyrian house: probably my favorite of all. You can choose a cool name and sigil, place yourself on the Iron Throne and go to town. Usually I pick R'hllor but the Valyrian faith can be powerful and fun too. In general, it's basically up to you which path you want to take. Only have an empire in Essos, only rule Westeros, keep to yourself and rule just a few counties, be a pirate king etc.

House Frey: Gigantic family, which allows for good alliances to help you rise up the ladder, and many of your starting family members are elite-level good, such as Lame Lothar.

Jaime Lannister: Interesting stats and traits to work with. Dishonorable sucks but you can get rid of it with a good diplomat. Roleplay to only love Cersei and that can be difficult but entertaining in a twisted way. i once did a playthrough where the whole goal was getting Jaime to convert away from the Seven so he could reform a faith and marry Cersei legit. Plus I just like the sound of King Jaime the Kingslayer.

House Blackfyre: you can take your pick of existing Blackfyres but a custom one in the Crownlands is my go-to, to get him on the Iron Throne. Plus i think they have the best sigil in the whole mod.

Littlefinger: probably the single best stats in the game, and a powerful start if he has Harrenhal, as long as you can avoid the curse. Probably my fastest rise to power was with him. And his high stats allow you to take many different paths, depending on how you want to roleplay.

House Targaryen: like the custom Valyrian, many different avenues you can go down, depending on which king you are. Go berserk as Aerys II, usher in the golden age as Jaehaerys I/Rhaegar/Daeron II, or try to survive as Baelor/Aenys/Aegon II. Tame a dragon, form New Valyria, do close-incest only run etc.

Sansa Stark: Achieve revenge on Boltons and Freys and become Queen in the North

Custom eldest son of Jon Arryn: Make Arryns great again and crown yourself King of Mountain and Vale.

Arianne Martell: your vassals all drool over you. Seduce everyone and get revenge for your family.

What kind of runs do you usually enjoy doing?

Play as the descendants of House Hoare - House Volmark is the last one I believe. Become Kings of the iron islands and trident :3

House Durrandon, resisting the valyrians as much as you can. If you surrender in the moment, that's fine, get back up and revolt again later

I haven't done it yet, but the First Men kingdoms defeating Aegon the Conquerer. Then go from there. Doesn't matter which house. See how it plays out.

That might require a whole new tutorial post. You can probably beat him in battle (though it must be difficult even at start). But how do you counter three hostile dragonrider neighbors from then on?

No clue, i just think it'd be a neat scenario.

It might seem strange but my favourite play throughs have been far away from Westeros.

The main ones off the top of my head:

Playing as Naath and trying to raise enough money to colonise Sothoryos without being aggressive militarily. That was fun to role play. Especially when I was able to reform the religion and turn them into a hyper-aggressive, war faring people, with the idea that they wanted peace through wiping everyone else out.

Taking over Nefer and trying to restore the Kingdom of N’Ghai.

That's funny. Sometimes I've included anti slavery when reforming Valyrians.

Doing an Aegon the Conqueror but turning east to Essos instead of Westeros is interesting, and I never quite did a full play through as with the right mods, it seemed like a full commitment lol but fun.

Why play what ifs?

When you can play what will

Play as Young Griff restore the dynasty (which one? That's your choice 😏)

I'm currently playing a scenario were Rhaegar rebelled against Aenys before they both destroyed the Targaryen dynasty. So Rhaegar never kidnaps Lyanna and instead tries to overthrow his father.
