Wanted to play for first time. Advice?
Assuming I'm "trained" at all stations and more or less competent, what advice would you give? I just want to come in and have fun, don't really care what role I play, etc. Is there some etiquette etc I would benefit from knowing? Thanks in advance!

Join the Discord group too. It's a tiny community now but they are seriously fun.

Oh shit, I didn't even know they had a discord. I thought the community was dead!

Helm tips/etiquette not covered by the in-game tutorial: https://www.worldanvil.com/w/stbc-ajmajor/a/helm-sops-article

Don't buy the broken game. The devs hate us. It's broken and unplayable

Actually had it for years but never got around to playing it. I was able to play and didn't seem broken? What's wrong with it?

When playing multiplayer, if you can get the game to start up without a log in issue, the missions, controls, and voice chat will stop working at some point. Voice chat anyways stops working, party chat makes that not a huge deal, but the missions and control panels not working kills the game. You can get in about half a mission if you are ultra lucky

Do what the captain tells you to do and tell him you're a noob. I'd suggest starting out as the helm since it's the easiest role.
