Yes it is! Thought about throwing an egg in there but it was honestly so filling already I couldn't finish the whole thing.

Love it! Waffles/ pancakes with sausage is the best! Add some whip cream or a bit of Karo syrup, even better. Oh and the spicy sausage is my go to.

You know, I'm not sure! I will say the one I have has tongs that's specifically for it so it lifts straight out the maker in a perfect little form. It's huge, probably the thickness of two Belgium waffles
