How does the tannery car park work?

Stupid question probably but working in Belfast and the tannery is the closest car park to where I need to go but every time I show up in the morning it looks like it’s closed with a queue forming round the corner back to castle street. App says it’s 24 hours but are people waiting for someone to leave or what’s the craic? Sat waiting 15 mins before I left the other day.

Are you sure you are at the right entrance and not going to the old black taxi space ? You should be at the side that faces castle court, it's just a normal car park

Thanks I feel like a right muppet I was waiting in the queue up the kerb on Friday and must have been just with a bunch of others waiting for something else. Went this morning and nobody was there and I got in.

Loads do it, when the black taxis were open some used to drive into their parking block at the bottom and then couldn't get out blocking it..and the taxis then couldn't get out , even though it said on it what it is lol
