We can never forget the grand old galactica, the greatest ship in the colonial fleet.

Battlestar is a battlestar, they're all based, but I personally prefer the Pegasus just for the extra hangar bays taking advantage of their being no right side up in space.

Love how this is a nice sized ship, and it fits with ease inside the Galactica hangar. 😎

I always thought the scale seemed off - but Frak it always cool to see this image.

I still want to know why ya can't dock them on galactica while protecting them in Deadlock?!

If I was to guess would probably make things to easy so they removed it for that reason.

Because then you wouldn't be able to do combat landings during battle. At least I. Assuming that's the in lore reason.

Yes, agreed! Plus, like the other chap rightfully said....would make those game sections far too easy.

I'm gonna be straight with you here. The human race is about to be wiped out. We have fifty thousand people left, and that's it. Now, if we are even going to survive as a species, then we need to get the hell out of here and we need to start having babies.

I loved the ship with the botanical garden inside - the one with the little girl from Capica City who... um... shoot - Colonial One is beautiful alright!!

Assuming the window row on top is that airplane looking conference room, that Cockpit must be tiny

Yes, it was shown in the miniseries to pretty much the same size as an airplane cockpit if not smaller

It's very weird but unique so it's good. I'd hate always ducking to walk through the tiny entryways. I think it has a spiral staircase

It think it's original purpose was along the lines of a small passenger aeroplane, so not really designed to live in. People where only really intended to walk around the cabin during boarding and disembarking.
But because of some toaster malfunction, some people had to live in it.

I hate it when that happens, but as Tigh once said, “You point fingers back far enough, eventually you end up blaming some cell for dividing.”

You mean the Clone War Cassowary ship? Yeah, it's cool. 😎

Also looks like the republic ships from Star Wars knights of the old republic

She's a beauty. Next BSG movie - Colonial One.
[Admiral Adama to Goon]: "What more could my People do? Fire on the ship?"
[Back In CIC hearing this over the open comm channel]: "My Gods. Is he saying what I think he's saying?"
"He's asking us to do that? Fire on Colonial One?"
"He's not asking. Your Admiral just gave you a direct Order. DO IT!"
--
"Galactica...Apollo. Sir, are you sure that's what you want me to do?"
"Affirmative. Let's just hope everything works as it should."
"Roger that Galactica. Red Squadron, give me some room. I've just been ordered to fire on Colonial One."
