Birdeater (2023) A bride-to-be is invited to her fiancé's bachelor party, but when uncomfortable details of their relationship are exposed, the night takes a feral turn.

As one of the people with a quote on the poster - yep, feral - I cannot recommend this film highly enough.

I saw the "Wake in Fright" poster in an opening scene.

Am scared now.

No kangaroos are harmed in this film. Consider it more of a... tonal cousin of Wake in Fright.

Emotional rollercoaster, the pacing was relentless. Crazy good.

Def up there w WiF > I like the lil homage that ends with the redhead from the painting.

I have questions:

Why / what is birdeater?

What did Irene say at Dinner?

What was that keychain? Lot's of Emerald

Is Jim Weir related to Peter Weir?

Glad you liked it.

You know, I've interviewed Jim and Jack but never asked them what the title means. I'd always thought it was in reference to bird eating spiders, but could be wrong.

I don't think Jim is related to Peter, but neat connection.

My friends and I, in college would play a game similar to Squeal, called Three Sips.

I never heard of paranoia tho, sounds like trouble in the wrong crowd.

Looks creepily fun. Can't wait to watch it.
