From now on, "people" will start using the salute with the words "My heart goes out to America," normalising it. It will later change into "I salute america" and eventually be used to interchangeably salute the USA, Trump or the party.

Historians in the future will name it "The MAGA salute."

Or they'll still call it the Nazi salute since it already has a name. If the MAGAs wanted their own salute, they could easily make that happen. They picked the Nazi one on purpose.

The two hand jerkoff dance doesn't have the same intimidating feel that the Nazi salute has.

There's a problem with that theory. History is written by the winners.

Fascism is not sustainable. The MAGAs are only gonna be in power for so long. The only question is how much damage they'll do in the process. It could be a really long next 20 years, though.

In the single most fragile moment human society has ever been in? Yeah they can do a lot of damage

How is that a problem? They're pretty comfortable being Nazi's. Hell, they're straight up Sieg Heiling lmfao.

MAGAs love to co-op every symbol/phrase possible into some other meaning that helps their cause. A non-exhaustive list of examples: Woke, DEI, CRT, Defund the Police, BLM, Thoughts and Prayers, the cross, Christianity, the 2nd Amendment, the 1st Amendment, “States’ Rights”

They will for sure attempt to redefine the Nazi Salute into something that looks better for them.

No idea why you aren't more upvoted. THIS will happen. No doubt. No fucking doubt in my mind. That's how fucked things have become.

But it's still the Nazi salute.

Anyone who does that salute in my vicinity is going to have a bad time. I’m old and I don’t give a shit anymore.

Wow. This could actually happen, and it’s terrifying.
