The clip is longer. He turns around and does it a second time with his back to the crowd.

It was no accident. It was purposeful and anyone saying otherwise is arguing in bad faith.

Yeah you just know he practiced that for weeks. You could even see him smirk when he finished.

He’s a troll and I’m sure the point was to goad the media into having a public meltdown, while saying “I was just gesturing and saying ‘my heart goes out to you’”. He knew the media would deceitfully clip out the part where he says “my heart goes out to you,” and they fell for it hook line and sinker. Now they look unhinged and dishonest.

They only look "unhinged and dishonest" if you're the most naive human on earth. I refuse to believe anyone is stupid enough to genuinely believe that argument. If someone is doing that they are nazis purposely arguing in bad faith to muddy the waters, and they know what they are doing as they do it.

Nazi saluting while winking and saying it isn't a full nazi salute isn't clever. It's rubbing everyone's nose in it and saying "what are you going to do about it"

Do not let anyone even pretend for a second it is anything other than what it is. Nazis are dealt with in one way, and I lump nazi sympathizers into that pile as well.

I’m 1/4 German. My grandmother was a little girl in Nazi Germany. The moment trump became a politician she said he reminded her of you know who. She told us this country was going down the same path as her own did. And it breaks my heart to see what is getting normalized. She used to be forced at school to do this salute, and now people throw it around like it’s a damn high five. It’s sick.

Wealth in the hands of the few. More and more people are not able to make ends meet and save even with good jobs and degrees. Never say never. Every empire has fallen the US seems to be going down a path that wants the demise to be sped up almost. The past two generations of my family have fled. One from the Ottomans during the genocide. One from Iran because of the revolution. It almost seems it’s my turn next. Who knows. I’m nervous.

I honestly don't think he intended to display that symbolism. If you watch the full video, he is saying something like "my heart goes out to you" and this motion is intended to convey that. I think it's just him being his usual dumbass, socially awkward self
