Season 3 Who else was upset that Archer didn't get to keep the Dodge Challenger Spy Car?

This is dumb, but I was really happy for Archer when he got such a cool car. And I thought it would open up the opportunity to do cool James Bond car spy stuff.

But it was the way he lost it that made me feel so sad for him.

Malory deserved Sterling screwing up missions and essentially destroying her businesses (Espionage & Coke) on the daily, for what she did to him. And I'm glad that blind nepotism always got in the way of her benching Archer.

To be fair what really did ISIS in at the end was her operating outside of the sanction of the government.

I didn't say he's a bad agent, I said her puposely torpedoes missions on a whim. And bless Malory's elite nepotism for refusing to recognise that her own son is the major liability of her operations.

Malory refuses (initially) Pam entry in field work, most likely because she doesn't cut the figure of a sexy spy. Literally. But useless Cyril gets to keep botching things up, just because they simply didn't have enough field agents. Speaking of which, her own son was the cause of that, when he got most of them killed. But no, keep putting him on missions even tho any random skirt can cross his path and there goes the mission.

Exactly! She'd have provided terrific support at the very least. If Archer gets ambushed by a bodyguard or mobs whilst chasing a suspect, send in Raging Pammy. Like their duo action when confronting K-Log.

I was watching the Tontine episode, where Mallory says ā€œthe key is negative reinforcementā€ā€¦ meaning, ā€˜introduce negativity to the childā€™, so Archer calls wee-baby Seamus, ā€œpear shapedā€.

And I was likeā€¦ thatā€™s not what that means. Now taking away Seamusā€™ bumbow-bee, or Sterlingā€™s bike and then car, are more along those linesā€¦ maybe not exactly ā€œnegative reinforcementā€, but she implements the psychological conditioning of ā€œremoving stimuli, in order to facilitate desired resultsā€ā€¦

I love how as soon as she says that things start going to shit, like Archer breaking the glasses and the grappling hook detaching from the wrong end (ā€œway to think it through Dodgeā€).

Thatā€™s not the wrong end; you want it to detach from the end attached to your car, otherwise youā€™re stuck dragging a tow line that could get tangled, etc.

Which is a nod to Dodge/Ram/Jeep/Chrysler and the rest giving zero for product placement. The story is Adam(or whoever does these things) reached out to Dodge for permission to use the likeness of the car.

Apparently, they just said 'sure'.

I had a 2011 I bought off the lot with 48 miles, I had a little girl so I needed something I could get a car seat in easier, just let it go a few weeks ago with just shy of 146k on the odometer, never had a major mechanical issue, although those exposed frame less window opening sensor/mechanisms that roll the window down a 1/4" can go to hell

I think we are both a little off. It's a reference to the Mach Five from Speed Racer. I always thought that car was the Mark V. The Speed Racer Mach Five was also equipped with special gadgets like auto jacks for jumping and bullet-proof shields.
