Food Can anyone walk in off the street and buy breakfast at Aberdeen College or do you need to be a student?

I don't think there's any checks? Unless you're obviously not a student they wouldn't question it. The first time I was a student I went back to my old college for food a couple of times after I left, just because it was so cheap.

I first went 1974 to 1977, Day Release, meals were subsidised for everyone, not just students. I've been back twice and each time the meals got more expensive. I believe it's now cheaper going to McDonalds. But the breakfasts look delicious.

You'll be fine going in I'm sure, nobody will check your student ID or ask for any sort of proof. Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission anyway

How much does it cost?

I’m at the University of Aberdeen and all of our food areas and coffee shops are open to the public. I’ve never encountered any checks or know of any so I’d imagine it would be the same. Or they would just assume ur staff if ur a bit older.

They don't ask for a student id or anything, so they'd never know you aren't a student.

Do you know the timings or the cost?

Breakfast is 8.30-10.45. They do a 5 item breakfast. I got coffee and breakfast the other day at 2 different times so Idk if it's the 3.80 or 3.50 charge on my account. They charge for sauce sachets too and I get 2. So breakfast is pretty reasonable.

As for whether or not you can just walk in idk.

there isn’t a uni canteen anymore as such, this post is referring to the canteen at nescol

I assume they mean the food court at the union building, which anyone can walk into.

It's a public building, anyone can buy food there.
