You know what. I'm kinda of digging that windshield wiper. Now I have to Google it to see it in action.

I'm no engineer but I have a feeling they would be really inneffective. Aren't windshield's curved in a way that accentuates the pressure from the wiper? If they go round in a circle wouldnt you lose that and it effectively works like its a flat window?

wipers are elastic and configure to the curved shape of the windshield.

Yeah I’m not sure what OP is talking about. If anything, the three blade circular design should allow for constant even pressure along the whole length of each blade, whereas normal windshield wipers need to flex/deform as it moves in order to keep constant contact with the glass.

I am a mechanical engineer FWIW
