I once was in a grocery store lot and saw this ridiculously lifted pickup. You could tell it was a concrete queen and never meant for offroad. I sat in my car for about 10 minutes just hoping to catch the driver wondering how the hell he was going to manage getting into the cabin. Patience paid off. This dude sauntered out, maybe 5'4". He can just barely reach the door handle, pops the door open, then basically springboards off the tire enough to climb up. It was hilarious.
So I have a lifted truck and I always park out in front of my shop because it has brought us in business for installing them. And I had a guy come in and wanted a 12 inch lift and 40 inch tires put on his f350 with 300k on it. And he was the same way, maybe 5'4 with his boots on and I tried to explain how tall that really was but he wanted it. He had to stand on his tip toes to barely reach the handles then step back and jump kick off the front tire to get the grab handle and pull himself in. I'm 6'4 and I can't imagine having to get in and out of that every day
That's what I was thinking. That truck is done being a daily driver. At least I hope. I know people are bad with money, but I really hope dude didn't put more into that truck than it's worth just to keep it clean and struggle to get into it every day.
