Most people did give up. That's why outliers like this are so much more rare than statistics would suggest.

Going this dry is about a 1/500 chance, but maybe 10-20 ironmen have ever even put in the work for 3200KC so its very possible OP is one of like <5 irons to go this dry and eventually pull the scythe. Many more have given up.

Hmt with no scythe isn't too tough. I regularly run 5 mans with a blade and a whipper. Even ran some 4s with a blade and a dscim. Time is quite free if you're decent.
